Mandy Wang, an aspiring 17-year-old artist from San Diego, has created a beautiful collection of drawings based on popular Disney and Marvel characters with colored pencils and watercolors. Most current fan art are made in the form of digital art, but Mandy prefers to work with colored pencils and watercolor. See more pictures and a video of how she works, below...

And to show that she's improving, Wang posted an image of a Rapunzel illustration that she did in May 2013 and an updated version from May 2014 to show off her incredible progress in a single year. Phone cases displaying her artwork are available to purchase online.

Meet Real-life Princess Jasmine Singing A Whole New World 22 Years Later

Posted in: , ,

Lea Salonga is the lady beside Princess Jasmine above and she provided the singing voice for the animated character. Somehow, I've always thought that Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle performed the music for "A Whole New World" in Disney's Aladdin, now I know better. It's been 22 years since she took her first magic carpet ride, and earlier this year, 43-year-old Lea Salonga teamed up with Il Divo for an amazing rendition of “A Whole New World.” Check it out below...

If Disney Princesses Had Instagram, I'd Surely Be Following Them

OK, maybe not all of them. Snow_white with her #nofilter #selfies can stay to one side. But Belle for sure, I want to see the cover of all those books, and know how her romance with the Beast turned out. All the others would also make interesting characters for sure, especially if like me, you've seen these Disney princess movies more than you're willing to admit :)

By the way, she might not be a princess but I love me Esmeralda. Who's your favorite?
